The RTE-RP and RTE-SMS MEMU (Mobile Explosive Manufacturing Unit) Vehicles
The RTE-RP and RTE-SMS MEMU (Mobile Explosive Manufacturing Unit) Vehicles
The MEMU vehicles are provided for fabrication and charging emulsion-type explosives into drilled holes at open pit mines and tunneling.
These vehicles meet the ADR standards and requirements for the Mobile Explosive Manufacturing Units (MEMU). They are approved for public roads as well as for the open pit mines and quarries.
The MEMU vehicles are being manufactured in two versions:
The RTE-RP (Repumpable System) vehicle is a multifunction unit used for transportation of raw materials needed for the emulsion-type explosive manufacturing (emulsion matrix, granulated ammonium nitrate, aluminum powder, pre-oiling substance and reagents), along with blasting means in original packings (igniters and detonators). The units’ main feature is manufacturing and charging the emulsion-type explosives into the drilled holes.
The RTE-SMS (Site mixing System) vehicle is having basically the same functions as the RTE-RP however, in addition, it’s equipped to produce the emulsion matrix at the worksite, using the needed components transported on-board.
The MEMU vehicles are produced for the tramming capacities up to 18 tons, depending on customer’s requirements.
